The Beadwings

We are Lois and Laurie Baty, a mother-daughter team, located in Pennsylvania and Virginia, who design our jewelry independently, but with compatible styles.

Our designs use the finest materials possible, whether semi-precious stones and gems, shell, African Kazuri fair-trade beads, pearls, or crystals or Czech glass; we acquire materials wherever our travels take us. We also have relationships with bead artists to use their work in our designs. FL Ettlin, Donna Nova, Unicorne, and Xaz Beads will be found in our work.

Our designs are one of a kind, so you are guaranteed a unique piece of jewelry. We often make matching earrings or bracelets.

Because our designs are unique, and because we are often at craft and jewelry shows, we prefer not to sell online.

We enjoy doing trunk shows, either in your home, at work, or in your store. Please contact us for details and dates available.

Working with customers to create custom jewelry gives us great delight. One of our recent commissions involved working with a great-grandmother's amber and grandmother's glass pearls to create a number of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings for three generations of women in the family.
